Jesus’ words in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,” weren’t just a suggestion. They are the heartbeat of our mission. Evangelism is the church’s calling and is especially vital in the foreign field, where billions still live without ever hearing the name of Jesus.

In many parts of the world, there are no churches on the corner, no Bibles on the shelf, and no one nearby to share the gospel. That’s why missionaries cross languages, cultures, and oceans to bring the hope of Christ to people who have never heard. History shows the incredible impact of this work. William Carey’s ministry in India and Adoniram Judson’s work in Burma began with one missionary’s obedience, and today millions trace their faith back to those efforts.

Foreign evangelism doesn’t just change individuals; it transforms families, communities, and nations. And it’s not finished yet. Thousands of people groups remain unreached, waiting for someone to come and tell them about Jesus.
